Natural variegated hues with great ambiance: A natural blend of multicolored raw stones featuring an interplay of light and dark tones. They possess an inherent vintage, organic texture that creates a rich, layered visual effect on its own, complementing a wide range of décor styles.
Fully water-polished with rounded edges—safe and burr-free: Processed via comprehensive water polishing, the stones feature smooth, rounded edges. They are safe to handle and won't damage plant roots or scratch aquarium walls, making them ideal for everything from children's crafts to garden landscaping.
Hard texture and weather-resistant: These high-density natural river stones are compression- and abrasion-resistant. They withstand prolonged exposure to sun and water without cracking, crumbling, or fading, ensuring long-lasting quality for both indoor and outdoor use.
Horticultural Potting Topping: A surface covering for succulents, orchids, bonsai, and houseplants; conceals the soil and prevents mud splashing during watering.
Aquarium/Turtle Tank Substrate: Used to create naturalistic aquatic landscapes; pairs well with aquatic plants and ornamental fish or shrimp; clean and stable, it does not cloud or pollute the water.
Outdoor Landscaping: Suitable for garden dry creek beds, rockery borders, flowerbed partitioning, and surfacing for balconies or terraces.
Washed Stone/Flooring Projects: Fine-grade stone aggregate for washed-stone finishes on indoor floors, entryways, small courtyards, and walkways; mixed with cement for a slip-resistant and durable surface.
Underfloor Heating Backfill: Small-gauge pea gravel used as aggregate for underfloor heating backfill; ensures uniform heat conduction and stable load-bearing capacity.

1. Are the pea stones dyed? Will the color fade from prolonged water immersion or sun exposure?
They are natural river pebbles with their original color—no artificial dyes. The mineral coloration is stable; they will not fade or turn white from outdoor sun exposure or long-term immersion in an aquarium.
2. Will there be a lot of silt or dust upon delivery? Do they need washing?
They are washed and screened during production, so there is minimal surface dust; however, for detailed aquascaping or potted plants, a quick rinse with clean water is recommended before use.
3. Do the stones have sharp edges or burrs? Will they scratch hands or the aquarium?
They undergo a full water-tumbling process to round off the edges, resulting in a smooth, uniform finish with no sharp points—making them safe for children's crafts and aquarium substrate.
4. Can fine pea stones be used for underfloor heating backfill?
These specialized small-diameter pea stones offer uniform heat conduction and stable load-bearing capacity, making them a standard aggregate choice for residential underfloor heating backfill.
5. Is it normal to find broken stones after shipping? Can the broken pieces still be used?
A small amount of breakage is normal during transit; the fragments can be mixed into soil or used for underfloor heating backfill, so nothing goes to waste. If there is excessive breakage, please contact customer service.
6. Can the mixed pea stones be used directly as aquarium substrate? Will they cloud the water?
Once rinsed clean, they won't easily cloud the water. Their stable properties do not alter water pH, making them ideal for biotope tanks, turtle tanks, and stream-style aquascapes.
