The color remains stable under normal indoor use. However, the color may wear off or reveal the base stone if subjected to prolonged soaking, vigorous scratching with hard objects, or repeated scrubbing; prolonged exposure to outdoor sun and rain will cause the dyed layer to gradually fade. We do not recommend using them in fish tanks for long-term submersion.

The products are sorted by size ranges (e.g., 3–5 cm means the vast majority of stones fall within this range). As they are natural river stones, individual pieces vary in size, thickness, and shape; while we prioritize selecting flatter stones, we cannot guarantee they will be identical. For bulk orders, we recommend requesting a sample first.

Q4: What paints do you recommend for painting on the stones?

We recommend using acrylic paints, oil-based markers, or specialized stone-painting pens. Ordinary water-based markers or watercolors have poor adhesion and can be easily wiped off. Spraying a layer of clear protective varnish after the paint dries significantly improves the weather resistance of both the design and the base color.

Q5: Can they be displayed in an outdoor garden after painting?

Short-term outdoor display is fine; however, prolonged exposure to rain and direct sunlight will cause both the dyed base color and the hand-painted design to age and fade. If long-term outdoor placement is required, be sure to spray a protective sealant over the finished artwork.

Q6: Can the stones be rinsed with water?

You can quickly rinse off surface dust with clean water, but do not soak them for extended periods or scrub vigorously with a stiff-bristled brush, as this will damage the dyed surface coating.
